We’re fortunate enough to be located outside the bustling town of Stratford-upon-Avon – a quaint market town famed for being the birthplace of Shakespeare. What most people don’t know is that Stratford-upon Avon is nestled within a triangle of automotive engineering excellence, stretching across to Coventry and south east towards Silverstone Race track. Within this triangle is a whole host of manufacturers – small and large – as well as establishments devoted to the petrolhead spirit.
One such establishment is Caffeine & Machine. Those of you who are involved in the petrolhead arena will be familiar with this establishment, which rose to acclaim around 2018. Based between Ettington village and Stratford-upon-Avon Town, Caffeine & Machine is the modern incarnation of Ace Cafe, bringing together people of all walks of life who want to share their passion for moving machines on the weekends or on weekdays.
Caffeine and Machine recently reached out to us to support them with their Strassenkultur event held over the first weekend of April. Naturally, we obliged and provided a beautiful selection of SLs ranging from the fifties to the noughties, including Matilda, our very own 450SL SportLine Race Car.
