But to ensure you are absolutely in tune with the cosmetic, mechanical and structural state of your vehicle, we’ve developed a New Owner Health Check to provide you with the quickest route to your first 12 months on the road.
We’ve designed the New Owner Health Check as a package to allow you to understand the condition of your vehicle, ensure it is running correctly and is road legal. At the core, is a 300-point investigation report that will give you a complete picture of the condition of your R107 SL.

THE R107 NEW OWNER’S PACKAGE INCLUDES:
Full Vehicle Health Check: covering 300 different aspects of your vehicle’s mechanical, structural and cosmetic condition; with a report supplied to you outlining these elements using a traffic light system to convey the urgency o rectification work.
A Service: includes an oil and filter change as well as an MOT, should your vehicle require one. An oil & filter change will ensure that any contaminated or old oil is drained from your engine, preventing wear and tear to the internals.
Timing Chain Inspection (V8 M116 & M117 Engines): The timing chain on the V8 models is notorious for stretching, causing rough idling, and rattling when the engine is running from cold. This inspection will prevent potentially catastrophic events should the chain come off.
Bulkhead Inspection: We will inspect the bulkhead and ensure that there are no signs of corrosion. You will be provided with a certificate to prove the condition of the bulkhead.
Induction System Smoke Test: We will check for air leaks within the system using a ‘smoke test’ to diagnose any engine running issues or ensure that none will develop.
Free Valuation: Our experts will provide you with an honest and reliable valuation certificate you can provide to insurers.
