Having been launched over 30 years ago, the R129 is moving closer to classic car status. With many of these vehicles still being used daily, it is common for corrosion to develop in set areas, particularly in the Northern Hemisphere.
Salt on the roads, dirt lingering in your wheel arches, years of usage and with the original rust protection now fading, your R129 would benefit from inspection and protection. Areas that are commonly found to rust are the the rear subframe, axle, differential and brake lines. Corrosion to the underbody, hydraulic and brake lines is concealed by the rear sub-frame making it often hard to spot.
