Rust and corrosion are two words that no classic car owner wants to hear. But understanding the extent of the problem is the first step to. So the main questions we intend to answer with this check are:
- ‘Is there rust?’
- ‘Where is the rust?’
- ‘How bad is the rust?’
- ‘What’s it going to take to fix it?’
WHAT DOES IT DO FOR THE CAR?
Understanding if there’s corrosion hiding beneath your car is key to the future of the vehicle. Without knowing if the structure of the car is sound, there’s little point investing money in it. Therefore, this check is designed to be a traffic light. Once it’s done, it prevents unnecessary work being done before the chassis and structure are sound.
