There comes a time when your classic Mercedes W113 will require some TLC. This can take many forms, but the essential starting point is the structural integrity of your W113. Despite being extremely rigid when new, a 50+ year old Pagoda will show signs of fragility around key areas all of which can be extremely dangerous to the occupants.

Our comprehensive W113 Vehicle Health Check will give you a comprehensive overview of the condition of your Pagoda’s structure, allowing us to determine the best route to give you a safe and usable Pagoda. Common issues that our welding repairs address include:

Outer & Inner Corroded Sills: Providing it is not dangerous, we will cut out corrosion and let new metal in as a long-term solution to rejuvenate your W113.

Rear Chassis Legs: There are three lips joining at one point here, including the sill, chassis leg and trailing arm, which will all corrode because of blocked drains. The knock-on effect will be corroded wheel tubs which will need patching or replacing.

Boot Floor Replacement: Where your boot lid seals have failed, water will have entered and collected at within the boot floor, destroying your spare wheel well in the process. This is a minor job that will strengthen the rear of your Pagoda.

Floor Pans: Where water may have collected in your floor pans, we have the option to cut out and let metal in (providing this is not dangerous) or fit replacement panels.

Front Cross-Member: Your front cross-members is home to the chrome bumper mounts, where it is common for the edges to corrode with age. Mending this area is a simple rectification process.
