Why work at SLSHOP? It’s the people that keep SLSHOP firing on all cylinders. Every single person at SLSHOP contributes to keep the internal processes operating efficiently and with a customer-centric approach. This short introduction makes you acquainted with our Chief Happiness Officer, Steph, who ensures all sixty members of staff are physically, mentally and emotionally supported every day of the week.
Steph goes by the title of CHO or Chief Happiness Officer, and has the difficult task of ensuring our ever-growing family of employees is taken care of. Stephanie has decades of experience working in the automotive trade, managing large teams at ATS Europe where she primarily worked in marketing. Stephanie manages employee wellbeing, careers, internal communications, customer trips, our print operation and supports with marketing.
In the words of the CHO: ”Working at SLSHOP means being able to develop staff skills, offering greater flexibility and scope within each role. It means getting to know all the team well and being able to give them support both professionally and personally should the need arise.
In these fast-paced days, to know your colleagues care and your employer actively invests time and money into your health and wellbeing is amazing and is worth so much.”
On transitioning from a large corporate business to a small family firm like SLSHOP, Steph commented by saying ”although integral structure and processes are put in place for order and discipline, over time in a bigger company they become rigid, overly officious and seem often only put in place for political purpose. How refreshing it is therefore to move into a smaller family-feel business where discipline and structure are certainly deemed no less important for the safety and productivity of the team but the flexibility and adaptability made available, is a dream. Hugely better for both customers and staff alike.”
