300 SL SPORTLINE PROJECT – TOM LEE

‘’The car is back, and I have to say, drives like a new car. I am very happy with the power that matches the manual gear box very well. The suspension appears much better too and the slight harshness that was noticeable, especially over speed bumps, has been dialled out.

Overall and excellent job.’’

350 SL RESTORATION – NICHOLAS

‘’The car looked splendid on collection and was beautifully cleaned and detailed. It started, ran, and drove so much better than before, the brakes are the best they have ever been, the hood and doors and windows fitted as they should without drafts and wind noise, and the
heater at last actually heats the car.  And on the road, all the endless rattles and creaking has gone.  It is a wonderful transformation.  Thank you and the SL Shop team for everything you have done.’’

1989 R107 SL – JAMES SMITH

‘’I visited the SL shop, and more specifically, Mark and his team to collect my father in laws ‘89 SL and what a terrific experience. His SL was trailered to the SL shop with a immobiliser issue, I didn’t have any initial early direct dealings with Mark, however from what I understand from my father in law, they were extremely professional, communication was faultless and ultimately they fixed the immobiliser issue (and are others too) with out any drama’s. My personal experience really only started when I arrived with him to collect the car – what an AMAZING place.

Mark greeted us at what is the most impressive facility. We were offered tour of the premises which to be honest, I doubted would be of interest prior to arriving, but I was completely overwhelmed by it. The showroom was lovely, the workshop immaculate; and the heritage workshop was another level above again. I think we were there over an hour, and in truth, it could have been longer. I don’t own an SL, however if you do, I can’t recommend this place highly enough, your pride and joy will be thoroughly cherished when you leave it there. Thank you to Mark and your team for your time on the day, fabulous experience.’’
