Being at the front of the car, the headlamps take the brunt of any car park shunts, and are susceptible to fading, cracking and smashing, whilst the headlamp bowls themselves are known to rust. The Mercedes R107’s headlamps are tricky items to repair once they’re damaged, and a new set can make all the difference to both the looks and safety of your SL.
There are two distinct variants, for manual operation or vacuum operation. Mercedes R107 headlamps with vacuum operation can be adjusted from inside the car – these are typically found on European R107 SLs, while manually operated headlamps are associated with USA specification SLs. To support the international arena of owners, we offer both variants in right and left hand drive format.
These Mercedes R107 headlights are never available in large quantities – we currently have just 5 of each set available for customers. We are expecting a delivery of headlamps with clear indicator lenses, so do contact our parts team to secure yours.
