In 1983, after restoring his own SL W113, an optimistic Dutchman hired one other mechanic and set to work launching his own independent garage out of the barns adjoining his family home. Over the next 3 decades they amassed a museum-worthy warehouse of parts both new and old that, even after retirement, took 7 years before they agreed to part with the haul in 2019. The son-in-law reached out to our parts team and in January 2020 the parts arrived back at our Stratford-upon-Avon headquarters.
