“Just a note to let you know that we have got the car back from the India/Nepal rally we did which went very well. Thanks to all your preparation the car was absolutely perfect, despite the conditions being horrendous. There was an unexpected cyclone that brought such tremendous amounts of rain that many roads, buildings, buses and bridges were all washed away. The rally was marooned for a few days up in the mountains until finally a route was found out of the valley which included crossing a very narrow and rickety suspension bridge designed for pedestrians, but it got us away without incident.
Aside from that, the roads were tremendously rough, the driving unbelievably entertaining and overall everything went well, thanks to a great car.
The next event is to Pamir Highway rally; 4500kms, 26 days from Almaty in Kazakhstan, into Uzbekistan, via Samarkand and Bukhara, into Tajikistan and the Wakhan Corridor, across the Pamirs to Kyrgyzstan, and returning to Kazakhstan via the Charyn Canyon in Kazakhstan, and we are due to ship the car in early to mid May.
It’s rather short notice but we wondered whether you had any capacity to give the car a once over and service before then, perhaps sometime during April? We haven’t anything on the list to do as all seems well, just a full service.”
