We accept payment for SLSHOP Assured cars by bank transfer, this should be made at least 24 hours prior to collection
For any vehicle to be presented on the Assured platform it must be: HPI clear, have a minimum of six months MOT, have passed our inspection process, and be presented as described. Funds will be managed securely through SLHOP providing peace of mind for both buyer and seller.
A seller has the option of SLSHOP facilitating the entire transaction including storing their vehicle. SLSHOP will handle any viewings and handover of the Assured car on behalf of the seller
In the unlikely event that you are not happy with the car, please contact our sales team immediately. You are purchasing the vehicle directly from the vendor and it is important that you highlight any concerns at the first opportunity for us to assist with any issue you feel is appropriate.

In some circumstances a seller might be looking for a swift sale and may be prepared to accept an offer lower than market value or asking price. The submit offer option allows buyers to tender an offer below the advertised price which will be considered by the seller and facilitated through the SLSHOP.

We will regularly contact you to discuss interest, website activity and pricing to ensure your car has the best chance of a sale. If your vehicle is Assured Managed, storage charges will apply after 3 months on sale.

Provided we have represented your car correctly with the important accurate facts then there should be no need for you to amend the wording on your listing.
Our friendly experienced Sales Team will handle all enquires regarding your vehicle and ascertain potential buyers’ levels of engagement. Should there be significant interest in your vehicle and our 100+ photos, video, full description, and inspection report are not sufficient, and the buyer wishes to view the vehicle in person then we would aim to facilitate a viewing between you and the potential buyer.
Sellers who achieve the maximum return, provide detailed history of their vehicle, and ensure that there are no issues that might require attention for any new owner. Of course, no classic car is perfect and there will inevitably be an expectation that some aspects of the car condition will need to be attended to at some point in time. Our inspection will highlight these areas of improvement.
You will need to provide registration documents, service history, ownership history, additional relevant information/documentation, details of any known faults, and information regarding any outstanding finance on the vehicle.

When you sign up for SLSHOP Membership, we will automatically send out your poster. You can also order the A2 version once your membership has been set up on our system. Please allow 24 hours for this process to take place.

Anything larger than this won’t be uploaded.
When submitting a new listing (Classified or Appraised), you will be asked to tick create the ‘create an account’ box, this will send an email to the email address you have used requesting you reset your password.

Membership plans require a minimum contract of 12 months. If you have not had Vehicle Health Check-Lite, you can cancel any time during the first 12 months.
To cancel your plan, you need to call our Membership team to do so.
If you choose to cancel the sale of your vehicle, please give us two weeks’ notice before collecting your vehicle.
As part of the SLSHOP Consignment agreement, you will be required to provide the vehicle to us with half a tank of fuel for test drives. If not, we will provide 20 litres of fuel at £3.00/litre.
Once your car is sold, you will receive your funds, less SLSHOP’s commission, within 14 days of the completion of sale.
We can arrange the professional collection and delivery of your car if required. Price and availability upon request.
Owners are required to cover the cost of photography and all written documentation of your vehicle.
SLSHOP can accept part exchanges providing the vehicle is relevant to our business. A part exchange is accepted and agreed on a case-by-case basis.
Due to the nature of the market, there are periods of the year where sales are quicker than others. We will market your car across our own platform, social media channels and other sites at the agreed value for a minimum of three months. After six months, we may reassess the marketing and price with you.
If we receive offers below the agreed value, we will always consult with you first.
All vehicles sold by SLSHOP are required to meet a specific standard and are certified as such. If you choose to use a different organisation to remedy any problems we have identified, we will have to repeat the inspection process to ensure the works have been carried out to our accepted standards.
Any remedial work to bring your vehicle up to standard must be paid for upfront, before the vehicle is listed for sale.
We offer competitive commission rates for our core SL models; with all other models being subject to agreement.
R107 SL: 12% | W113: 10% | R129 SL: 15%

Yes, simply log in to your account in the same method outlined above. Any enquiries about your vehicle for sale will be dealt with through your channel of choice, whether that be email or phone.
Videos can not currently be utilised with SLSHOP MarketPlace. We will be adding this function at a later date.
SLSHOP offers two services for owners looking to sell their Mercedes:
SLSHOP Classified: A simple free service where you take control of your listing, using your own photographs and description to sell your vehicle.
SLSHOP Appraised: SLSHOP will inspect your car and produce a detailed report on the calibre of your car, write the description and photograph your Merc. You simply manage the viewings and sale negotiations. This service is £595.00.
All you need to do is hit ‘Sold’ on your listing and your advert will be immediately updated.
Appraised listings will be live once the inspection and photography have been uploaded to MarketPlace.
Unfortunately, there is no way to preview your advertisement before it is listed. However, you can make immediate changes within your account.
Yes, log in to your profile to see how many views your advert has received.
We advise always taking payment via a reputable digital channel. PayPal or Bank Transfer are safe ways to ensure a legitimate transaction.
SLSHOP Classifieds: You can cancel your vehicle listing at any time without incurring any charge.
SLSHOP Appraised: You are entitled to a refund prior to your Mercedes being inspected by SLSHOP. Vehicles that have been inspected and photographed are not eligible for a refund.
Log in to your account using the same email and password you set the account up with. Head to ‘My Adverts’ and click ‘Edit’. Here you’ll be able to make any desired changes to your listings.
