1989 Mercedes Benz R107 560 SL

Overview of this Mercedes Benz

UK registered US import Mercedes Benz 560SL.

I trucked the car to my house in Spain and the engine had issues. We removed the engine, sent it to the UK and shipped it back to Spain once done. Engine total rebuild everything is new done by UK company that does a lot of engine work for Mercedes Benz UK and also in Europe.

I’m not happy to let it go as I wont find another one this good. The car is 100% original and the US spec engine is no longer as it is now a Euro spec engine with 272HP. Not an ounce of rust. Its perfect for the enthusiast of the brand to have the best 560SL you can find. Dry stored always and very much loved and pampered.

Condition:

Engine is still in its pallet packaged as I've had no time to commence the install. hence the sale. Body work and Interior are 100%, engine is new but needs fitting along with gearbox, exhaust system and so on. I have everything except for the steering arms and tie rods ends. The pictures are of the actual car, however, now the engine is out.

History:

The engine was redone as Euro spec and the rear taillight mounted on the boot has been professionally removed. Rear seats that have never been sat in with seat belts, new tires and the hard and soft top are prestine. This is a plug and play project that can be done in less than a week with full time dedication or slowly over time. Only fit the running gear and away you go. I have the UK invoice for the engine work. UK V5 in my name and ready to go. Car is in Valencia Spain and needs to trucked away obviously and the bits and pieces will need a van to take them.
