R129 SL DETAILING
Your R129 was produced to impeccable standards. When new, some examples cost north of £100,000; so, you can expect the paintwork to have been deep, impenetrable and perfectly suited to Sacco’s distinctive design. But as time passes and grand tours have their impact, your paintwork can become tired, just like the carpets and upholstery of your interior.

Our R129 Detailing services utilises an expert team of detailers who understand each SL intimately. Each of their working hour is spent perfecting models from the fifties to the 2000s, including the R129. They have devised the perfect routine to restore your SL’s to Super League standard, bringing back the depth of exterior paint and contaminate free cabin for you to reside.
We offer three packages to suit your budget and desired outcome, each based around our core eight-stage process.
OUR PERFECTION PACKAGES:
ENHANCE YOUR EXTERIOR: 2 DAY DETAILING SESSION
- Wheel Face, barrel and inner rims cleaned
- Arched and door jams cleaned
- A pre-wash is carried out using snow foam, followed by a two-bucket method contact wash
- The decontamination stage utilises fallout remover, tar & glue and is concluded with a clay bar
- Your vehicle is then towel dried before a classic car dryer is utilised to remove and dry any trapped water
- Once the vehicle is suitably polished to concours standards, a paint sealant is applied to the vehicle
- The vehicle’s chrome, exhaust and trim will then be polished
PAINT CORRECTION: 2-3 DAYS DETAILING AND PAINT CORRECTION
Removes 60% of imperfections across your whole Mercedes-Benz
- Wheel Face, barrel and inner rims cleaned
- Arched and door jams cleaned
- A pre-wash is carried out using snow foam, followed by a two-bucket method contact wash
- The decontamination stage utilises fallout remover, tar & glue and is concluded with a clay bar
- Your vehicle is then towel dried before a classic car dryer is utilised to remove and dry any trapped water
- Cutting and refining detailing pass to remove 60% of imperfections over 3-4 hours
- This is followed by machine polishing to remove light swirls and marring, while simultaneously improving the gloss
- Once the vehicle is suitably polished to concours standards, a paint sealant is applied to the vehicle
- The vehicle’s chrome, exhaust and trim will then be polished
CONCOURS CORRECTION PROGRAM: (3-4 Days)
Removes 90% of imperfections across your whole Mercedes-Benz
- Wheel Face, barrel and inner rims cleaned
- Arched and door jams cleaned
- A pre-wash is carried out using snow foam, followed by a two-bucket method contact wash
- The decontamination stage utilises fallout remover, tar & glue and is concluded with a clay bar
- Your vehicle is then towel dried before a classic car dryer is utilised to remove and dry any trapped water
- Cutting and refining detailing pass to remove 90% of imperfections. The paint is constantly monitored to prevent damaging any areas
- This is followed by machine polishing to remove light swirls and marring, while simultaneously improving the gloss
- Once the vehicle is suitably polished to concours standards, a paint sealant is applied to the vehicle
- The vehicle’s chrome, exhaust and trim will then be polished
