1989 Mercedes Benz R107 500SL

This is a good 1989 example of a Mercedes R107 500SL automatic in white with blue leather upholstery, white hard top and blue hood.

 

Having covered just 121 k miles the car has a large history file, with service and maintenance invoices and MOT’s, and two sets of original keys.

Paintwork in good condition with minor blemishes only. Some damage to metal surrounds for hood locating sections on windscreen header and rear deck. Thousands have been spent on the car by the current owner, including transformative steering parts replacement, overhaul of the brakes, 4 new tyres. The car now runs very well and is a pleasure to drive. In 2017 the previous owner had commissioned an interior refurbishment including re-lacquering wooden finishings, leather connolisation etc. The soft top is blue and in excellent condition with no rips or tears. New cables have been fitted and the plastic windows are clear.
