Condition Synopsis:

Green is the colour when looking down the checklist on our SLSHOP healthcheck for this SL 500, with everything in order. Visually it’s impeccable inside and out, its condition such you really could be rolling out our showroom like it’s 2007. Sadly, it’s not, but the 49,000 miles it’s covered have been extremely easy on it, and in the 17 years since it was delivered new depreciation makes this once circa-£80,000 (before options) car an affordable, accessible, and appreciating classic.

History File:

It’s obvious that there’s been plenty of care lavished on this car throughout its life, but someone’s been a bit careless with its original history file. There’s a duplicate service book with the car, and it’s been stamped over the past, three years, it accompanied by a pile of receipts underlining its meticulous upkeep since. Having inspected the car here there’s no doubt that this car’s been looked after throughout its entire life, it likely that its heated washer jets were never been troubled by anything as grubby as a cold winter’s day, and the glass folding roof has spent the majority of its life down. Indeed, this car looks like it’s barely been used such is its fine condition. It’s had its alloy wheels refurbished recently, and it’s also benefitted from new brake discs and pads all-round in the past three years, this an SL 500 that’s ready to drive out of the showroom and enjoyed and upkept as its previous owners have.
