A superbly presented 280SL Pagoda in a beautiful colour combination of Anthracite Grey exterior paint and black leather interior.

In overall good cosmetic condition inside and out as is evidenced by the listing pictures.

History:

There is a wealth of interesting historical paperwork from this cars time in the States.  This left hand drive model was imported into the UK in 1969 from California as the letter from the General Manager there states, following which it was brought back to California again where it resided until returning to the UK in 2016. The original and replacement service books are in the file along with the original data cards, vehicle manual, parts catalogue and original bill of sale from MB North America in New Jersey in 1969. This car was inspected by The SL Shop in 2019 following which an extensive schedule of mechanical and cosmetic works were carried out along with a recent full C Service to set this car up perfectly for a new owner to enjoy. Digital copies of the invoices of retail works are available on request.
