We are delighted to present this extremely rare 300SL (R107) which has been in the custody of just three owners since 1989; one of which who has owned the vehicle from 1990 up until 2022. This is an opportunity to acquire a collector-grade R107 300SL for either long-term investment and/or enjoyment on the road.

The exterior Nautic Blue (929) paintwork has been cautiously maintained and it is clear that over the years, the vehicle has been garaged. The paintwork preservation utilised when the vehicle was produced has worked perfectly to prevent chips, scratches and fading of the paint. Its rich Atlantic hue is abundantly clear upon approach. This is a colour that offers a contemporary presence, where other R107 colours are now more outdated.

The 300SL sits on the original Michelin tyres to show the authenticity of the vehicle, with the original balance weights still in place on the iconic ‘gullideckel’ 15” flat face alloy wheels. Before sale, the tires will be replaced with new period correct Michelins. As you can see from the imagery, the engine bay possesses all the original markings, with the six-cylinder block still in possession of the factory marking indicating that it belongs to this vehicle.

Inside, the Grey Leather has absolutely no stains, rips or creases; the cabin possesses the ‘new’ leather aura associated with newly upoholstered furniture. When lifting the decklid, you’ll notice how clean every inch is – the same can be said about the boot, spare wheel well and the tool storage section. Similarly, the chrome and interior wood is entirely original with full lusciousness expected of a luxury Mercedes-Benz.
