We are gauging interest in this Left-Hand Drive 280SE which first arrived in the UK in 2009 at the hands of revered automotive journalist, Andrew Martin.
Andrew informs us that in his custody he has invested thousands of pounds to bring it up to its current standard – he tells us that in the past few years the following has been carried out:
- Upgraded electronic ignition
- Refurbished steering box
- Replaced all injectors
- Four new tires
- Refurbished steering rack
In Andrew’s words, the vehicle is ”spotless underneath. No rust. Engine is superb and drives as good as new. All original, including Becker radio, electric windows and electric sunroof, power assisted steering and central locking.
