SLSHOP are delighted to bring this exceptional 300 SL to market. Following long-term ownership, this 300 SL has been cared for by a small number of owners since being registered in 1988. Ordered new from the factory by a P. Sheehan in the factory correct Light-Ivory Metallic (623O), choosing to pair this oriental colour-scheme with a beautiful Mid-Red Leather (277).
Presented in low mileage state and with an immaculate paint finish, this 300 SL stands out from its UK and foreign R107 SL counterparts. Where the R107 SL is commonly found in reds, blues, greys, and browns, a 300 SL from the second-to-last year of production in Light Ivory Metallic (6230) is an unusual find.
Inside, the Leather is plush and absent of any rips or stress – this is testament to the commitment its previous keepers have made towards preserving this beautiful vehicle. The Burl Wood central console glistens and is presented without any cracks. The current keeper has added an aftermarket head unit to give driver and passenger added driving pleasure.
