I bought this V8 420SL from the SL Shop in 2011 to satisfy a dream.  I did not expect to keep it so long but am afraid it is now time to move on.  I will miss the excitement, comfort and the sound of the V8 as it cruises effortlessly along highways and country lanes, the exhilaration as it roars past traffic, and the pride as people (young and old) watch admiringly as you drive past or wander over to recount tales as you ‘pull up’.  On top of all this, it is a very practical car.

I am the 4^th owner of the car and bought it from the SL Shop after refurbishment, 12 years ago.  It has been inspected, maintained and improved annually by the SL Shop ever since.  Works additional to servicing-include structural, panel and paintwork along with suspension and mechanical work including bushes seals brakes and an extensive programme of works over my entire ownership. There is a wealth of historical paperwork along with the original and secondary service book dating back to 1988. Details of works carried out are available on request. Last service and MOT carried out with SL Shop in Jan 2023
