1983 Mercedes R107 280SL

This car is finished in one of the best combinations of Mercedes Blue, with full, dark blue leather interior and fitted Rear Seats. Includes both Hard and Soft Top. Fitted with new Radio Cassette when purchased but still have original Decker Europa Cassette (looks as new). Power windows. Cobra Alarm. Absolute delight to drive and receives many admiring comments. Very sad to have to sell but deserves someone who will use her more. Averaged 394 miles/year over last 20 years! MOT runs to July 2023.

First owner, a middle aged gentleman, bought the car with the intention of enjoying a relaxing retirement before receiving a lucrative consultancy role in the City (London) and decided he no longer required the car for practical reasons. He owned it for 10 months and did circa 8000 miles. The car was then purchased by a very successful businessman in the Essex area, who went on to own the car for 13 years. He rotated the use of the car with other high value cars in his collection. In 1997, the car was purchased by the Classic Car Collector, David Morris Autos and spent the next year in a climate controlled environment, before being purchased by the current owner, having reached 50,871 miles.
