1979 Mercedes-Benz C107 450SLC

1979 Mercedes Benz 450SLC. 90900  documented kilometers. (56500 miles)  Canadian car. Was ordered from Mercedes Benz Winnipeg as a European delivery car, picked up in Germany at factory, used for three weeks and then shipped back to Canada. First owner kept the car until 2001 when the second owner bought it for his wife. They kept the car until the wife past away and then the husband donated the car to a charity auction in September 2022.  I was able to verify this information by speaking directly to the second owner.  I have documents that confirm the two owners.  The SLC has never seen bad weather and its original paint still shines like new. There is no rust at all on the car . Car is kept in a climate controlled garage and just taken out into the snow for pictures.

Paint is in excellent condition.  Some surface scratches but still shines nicely and clear coat has not cracked at all.   No rust at all.  Everything on the car works including air conditioning and the original radio.  The dash is free of cracks.  The leather seats are in great condition with just a little wear on drivers seat bolster. Carpets like new and have been covered with mats since new.  I just replaced the tyres which were original.  There was lots of tread but the sidewalks were cracked.  Fuel system including actuator, fuel filter and four fuel lines just recently replaced.  New exhaust system including both primary and secondary mufflers just replaced. I have a list of past maintenance and repairs to the car from Mercedes Benz dealer in Winnipeg.  The car recently passed the provincial safety inspection, needing only the four tyres. Black rubber bumpers in great condition. All glass in great condition. Brightwork  in very good condition . Still has original aluminum wiper arms. The engine runs strong and the gearbox shifts smoothly. There are no visible engine oil leaks. First aid kit is all intact and tool kit still in original plastic bag. All manuals and delivery plates included.  There are no leaks into the cabin or through the sunroof. 14” Bundt wheels in very good condition

First owner purchased the car at Mercedes Benz Winnipeg Manitoba Canada in 1979. Traded car at a Chevrolet dealer in 2001 when the second owner then purchased it. Car was put up for charity auction in September 2022 and bought by Mercedes Benz Winnipeg to use as a display car in their dealership. They normally do not buy such old cars but had the history on it. This is an incredibly rare example of an unmolested original SLC with such low mileage.  This car is definitely turnkey and ready to drive. I was able to purchase the car in November 2022, with the intent of traveling with it on vacation, but have since ordered a new 2023 sl63 AMG and will have no place to keep both.  I can assist with arranging shipping.
