Serendipitous it may sound — as it’s the 60th anniversary of the Pagoda — offered here is a 1969 Mercedes-Benz W113 280SL. Affectionally referred to as the Pagoda, thanks to the car’s removable hard top, it has been proven to be a well-engineered car that not only looks excellent but performs rather brilliantly, too. This particular SL benefits from a stunning coat of 180 Silver paint which is complemented nicely by its black leather interior.

When new, the 280SL benefitted from a more powerful engine, giving the W113 an even better combination of Paul Bracq’s unmatched styling, overall comfort, and great sporting performance. And the most brilliant bit is that, even sixty years later, not much has changed — it’s still as marvellous.

This 1969 car is also ULEZ compliant and is MOT Exempt.
